Hi,
How can we export images as video slideshow? Are there any libraries which we can use for this.? I know that opengl can be used to make slideshow with images but i am not sure how to export them to video. We don't think OpenGL here is possible here to generate video effect,
excepted if you know a way to export OpenGL output to video media. I thinking somethink like this tool, unmaintainned now : http://fosswire.com/post/2008/04/manslide-a-slideshow-generator-for-linux/ Gilles 2012/2/19 Janardhan Reddy <[hidden email]>: > Hi, > How can we export images as video slideshow? > Are there any libraries which we can use for this.? > > I know that opengl can be used to make slideshow with images but i am not > sure how to export them to video. > > Regards > A Janardhan Reddy > > > > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-devel mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel > Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Hi,
I found a link: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en/mencoder.html http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en/encoding-guide.html using mencoder we can export images to mpeg-4 and also cd and dvd compatible files Can we use such a thing in background using QProcess .(may be we can find a better programn than mencoder later) Regards A Janardhan Reddy On Sun, Feb 19, 2012 at 1:02 PM, Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]> wrote: We don't think OpenGL here is possible here to generate video effect, _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

What about ffmpeg
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/1017528/don-video-converter-trying-freebie http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu/ It's cross-platform solution so it will work in windows also. video slideshow generator can be done with ffmpeg using Qprocess.
