Hi Markus,
I saw something like this passing by yesterday (either
on the devel mailing list or the IRC) that
also the translations were move to the kde3 branch
(can't find any reference on this right now).
If you can live without German translation for the moment,
you could simply leave that part out.
Otherwise you could try to find out the correct kde3 branch name
for the check-out ...
