side show

michael pennington
New to digikam, used film factury (cannon) in windows. was able to due
side shows in that program, can not find anything like it in digikam. I
want to be able to do side shows can anyone help. Have been a linux user
for several years, but new to digikam, I know how to search/find things
in linux, but not able to fine what I need for digikam.

You have to install the kipi-plugins
-> http://extragear.kde.org/apps/kipi/

I'm sure, your distribution has a package called *kipi*

If you mean "slideshow" you have an option under Tools>Slideshow which will allow you to view the current selected photos in a slideshow format.  It will view a particular tag, album, date, etc.

I looked under all tabs, nothing about side shows under tools?
