reposting Nikon L120 Digikam support

Alok
Hi all,

How come Digikam does not download photos
from Nikon L120 even though it recognises it??
Can anyone help me for this?
Do not like going into windows everytime I want to download photos from
the camera... :(

Alok

If you are using ptp-mode on your camera to download pictures, check the
following:

find out if the nautilus filemanager is running; if so kill it by:

killall nautilus

if this does not work, then find out if gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor is
running, if so kill it by:

killall gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor

Hope this helps, at least it worked for me.

Robert

I have to unmount  'Nikon coolpix L21' from Nautilus, then only DK can download photos from it.
This is not the problem with my Nikon D40 SLR though it is not auto detected as PTP, no problem at all,I select USB.
