Hi together,
back again with a problem I can't solve for me alone. I got a few digicams here (Nikon D50, Casio Exilim Z9, Sanyo, Pentax). A few weeks ago all are working fine with the digikam download. Since I bought the Casio the download of all is broken... I simply get the message "Es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten" (= an error occurred). Nothing else. The camera ist detectet and shows up. I have permissions to write to my digikam-drive - extern USB Western Digital with 320 GB. I am busy making pictures, so I have to download urgently. Where should I search for the reason of this strange behavior? Every hint or tip is very much appreciated - thanks a lot! -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen/best regards Uwe Haider [hidden email] http://www.familie-haider.de _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

For digiKam try to start from konsole and copy'n'paste messages from it. m. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Card Reader doesn't works too... There appears no device, no files...
Perhaps an USB-Problem? But the pictures show up in digikam or thunar, showfoto etc... So usb works a bit? Kernel is 2.6.25-gentoo-r7. I am not sure, how to config the kernel for usb. best regards uwe Am Mittwoch, den 17.09.2008, 09:11 +0200 schrieb Dennis Meulensteen: > Op Tuesday 16 September 2008, schreef Uwe Haider: > > > Every hint or tip is very much appreciated - thanks a lot! > > I always use an external card reader myself.
