Hi all,
Following dead line fro KDE4.6 available here : http://techbase.kde.org/Schedules/KDE4/4.6_Release_Schedule It become urgent to move libkmap and libkface to kdegraphics/libs to be sure that digiKam 2.0.0 will be compatible with KDE 4.6 release, else, we will need to wait KDE 4.7... If there is no objection i will move these libraries today. I also plan to integrate current core implementation of libface in libkface, as we do with libraw into libkdcraw. Hi, I also plan to integrate current core implementation of libface in I'm fine with this. Also, does this mean that if a proper version of libface is already installed, then it will be used instead of the bundled one? Because we still have some API changes due for the changes in the digikam UI that we want to make, but I can not currently promise a schedule. I don't move code yet, due to a review and right from kde release /
kde graphics teams. I forwarded a mail to this list from kde review mailing list about the libraries move. This cannot be done for KDE 4.6 as well, i think. We must found another solution for digiKam 2.0.0. I wait other response from kdegraphics maintainers Gilles Caulier 2010/11/5 Michael G. Hard API freeze is Dec 20th. Assuming that also holds for kdegraphics/libs - I dont know if any bindings are generated for this at all. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
