Hello :-)
A question again :-) I use vuescan (proprietary program, run under linux) to scan. This programm allows me to write limited comments in the image (usually I copy there what I read on the paper back) I can see these comments in the "EXIFs image description" in Digikam, but I fail to see how I can modify them with Digikam (I may be able to do this with exiftools, but Digikam is much better :-) any idea? thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://pizzanetti.fr _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Or you can use the exif metadata editor from the menu Image -> Metadata -> Edit Exif. good luck gerlos -- "Non puoi aspettarti di vedere al primo sguardo [...] Osservare è per certi aspetti un'arte che bisogna apprendere." _ Wilhelm Herschel (y) < http://gerlos.altervista.org > = gerlando --> gnu/linux registred user #311588 _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

However, Gilles, I don't see any option allowing metadata edition in the right column, may be my Digikam is too old (V1.2 - but the last version don't works on my openSUSE) anyway I have just to edit some images (I happen to forget to delete the data field in the vuescan window when I change image) thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://pizzanetti.fr _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

In right sidebar, you can use template tab to assign pre defined
metadata template to images. BQM can do it also in batch In BQM, i also written a tool to remove metadata in batch with last 1.5.0 Gilles Caulier 2010/10/17 Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]>: > Go to Image/Metadata meny entry.
