Hello,
Whenever I try to run digikam to test changes I make i get foll. errors. http://paste.kde.org/696734/ Also I was trying to work on foll. bug:https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179209 and made some changes but when I tried to run and see in batch process on right clicking album,it showed no batch process plugins available.Similar error is shown for export and import. Is there anything which is left installing and how should I check for changes I make in code since no plugins are available Thanks _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Sound like your kipi tools are not loaded at startup. What do you see in Tools menu ? What do you see as trace in the console when digiKam start ?

Hello,
My trace when kipi loads: http://paste.kde.org/703742/ Also in tools menu I get foll. options:Image editor, light table, batch queue manager among others. My main problem is when I right click any album and see batch process option I see no batch process plugins available.Same is case for export plugins.I am trying to work on a export plugin project so it is necessary for me that the options are visible so that I can test changes. Your kipi-plugins installed are too old. Do you use whole digiKam source code from git/master through SC repository : https://projects.kde.org/projects/extragear/graphics/digikam/digikam-software-compilation/repository
And follow README : Gilles Caulier 2013/3/23 Saurabh Patel <[hidden email]> Hello, _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Hello,
I followed downloads section of digikam for code.I downloaded dependencies using sudo apt-get install dependencyname-dev for plugins.Example:sudo apt-get install libkdraw-dev.Is it not the correct way? Thanks On Sat, Mar 23, 2013 at 1:38 PM, Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]> wrote:

yes, it's fine, excepted for libkipi, libkdcraw, and libkexiv2 where you need to use digiKam lib version instead system version. Hello,
My main problem is regarding export plugins not showing up on clicking export button on menubar and I am trying to work on a export plugin project on which I am trying to test my changes but am not able to test any changes. it's libkipi problem, solved if you use digiKAm lib version . Look if you have another libkipi in your system. Gilles Caulier
