The Time adjust tool have been migrated in Batch Queue Manager to be able to
chain it with a list of tools when you process a queue of files.

Look in BQM Control PAnel/BaseTools/Metadata section.

I understand that it's nice to be able to use the Time adjust tool in the Batch
Queue Manager, but it would be nice if we could have the old behaviour in
addition to this change.

From my usability point of view it's definitely a step backwards. First, the
BQM has a confusing UI, second it randomly eats a lot of CPU on my computer. In
addition, the nice preview is missing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the steps
to adjust the times increased:

OLD:
- Select images
- Open Adjust time tool
- Edit Parameters
- Confirm

NEW:
- Select Images
- Open BQM
- Search Adjust tool and add it
- Edit Parameters
- Confirm

Alternatively, I could use an old queue and remove the old images, but there's
no option to add images!

Further bugs/are worse compared to digikam 4:
- The adjust time dialogue is Norwegian
- The times are not adjusted!
- Every time a copy of the images is made
- Settings are not remembered

Sorry, but from my point of view, the tool is broken. Please bring back the old
behaviour.

Two corrections to the post above:

- The EXIF times are adjusted, but digikam times are not updated. --> I will
file a new bug.
- Settings are remembered if I delete all items in the queue, then go back to
the album view, select images and press B. --> This is no straight-forward
behaviour.

No. The old behavior will never restored. All pass by the BQM now.

To improve the new tool, use your bug #365907

I give up. Apparently, you're not willing to discuss with me about the - in my
eyes - poor usability of the Adjust time tool via BQM compared to the old
solution. I still think that a direct link (or something that eases the use)
would be more user-friendly. Bug #365907 is not about usability.

If we add an entry for timeadjust in AlbumView menu, we must do it for all BQM
tools. This will bloat the GUI and it's not the goal.

All tools to manage item metadata are now hosted in BQM section. It's clear, no
more. We wan't no extra dialog for only this tool. Also the way to chain tools
together is a real advantage. This is the goal of BQM, ask by other users...

This tool, previously written as KIPI plugin is not shared anymore. In fact all
batch tools from KIPI will be migrated to BQM as well. Only export/Import to
web services tools will stay in KIPI.

If necessary, the rest of improvements of this tool, GUI behavior included,
must be talk in other report as i said previously...
