digikam 0.9.2-final

Gerhard Kulzer
I put the release tarball into the digikam3rdparty and SF sites. The last po
files are included. Unfortunately I have to leave right now and have no inet
access for the next 40 hours.

So I would appreciate if anybody of you would do the announcements per mail.
Sorry for that.

Gerhard

hmm, can you change the tarball name? it's a bit ugly for distro packagers.
betaX, rcX are used by them for a pre-release package version so that final
can upgrade them, the word "final" should be left out of package name
instead and that should be managed differently.

TIA,
        Angelo

I second that, please do not release with the word "final".

Looking over:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=42641&package_id=34800

None of the previous released versions of digikam 0.9.1, 0.9.0, 0.8.2 had the
word final as as Angelo states it does make it difficult for distro
packagers.

But of course the 'final' is on sf.net now :-(

Hi,

I guess the problem is not the name itself, but the fact that the top
directory in the tarball is digikam-0.9.2-final instead of "digikam-0.9.2".

Is it too late to upload a new one without "-final" ?

no, but i'm too busy to do it actually. If you want to do it, feel free...

Alright, done.

I guess it may take some time to propagate to the mirrors...
