[digiKam-users] how to add new border

Hi


I 'm looking  to add borders to my picture using digikam. Unfortunately
, there is no so many choice and tuning and the only one I found useful
is the niepce one.

then just wondering if there is a way to find and add new borders (for
example one similar to niepce but with shadow effect)

Hi,

Border tool is coded in C++/Qt here :

https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/-/blob/master/core/libs/dimg/filters/decorate/borderfilter.cpp

You need to know C++ for that...

Alternative : GMIC-Qt plugin for image editor, if i remember correctly
has also some options to add border to image. Take a look.
