[digiKam-users] digikam 6.1 appimage crashes at start

Dear Colleagues,
I just downloaded digikam 6.1 appimage (64bit), made it executable. It
started, checked for new entries and vanished.
Any idea?

It has happened to me a few times, but I've never been able to catch the
error in the console. It is always after scanning for new pictures at
startup, but only once in a while.

Hi all,

1/ please rune appimage in a console with "debug" argument. When it
crash, it must indicate where in source code (if it's in digiKam, not
a shared lib).

2/ With next 6.2.0, AppImage come with new Exiv2 library 0.27.1. Scan
stage is very intensive with Exiv2 usage. So perhaps this kind of
problem is now fixed. pre release bundles are located here :
