First great software. I'm was using 5.9 to transition from LR but installed 6.0.
In both cases I noticed that when viewing the trash I can't scroll down through the photos and xmp files in the trash. Thus I can't permanently delete just the older ones that are down at the bottom of the list. Am I missing something? I would like to be able to permanently delete only specific files. Regards Sher |
I noticed this too, however I think it was trying to populate the thumbnails and took a long time, longer than I thought. I let it sit for quite a long time and eventually I was able to manipulate and delete the photos.

Which digiKam version, with 6.0.0? In digiKam-6.0.0, the thumbnails from the
database are also used in the trash, if available. This is now very fast even with a few thousand files in the trash. Maik Am Dienstag, 5. I'll be happy to provide a screen cast if someone will explain how? I assume once I have it I should not include it in an email but rather put it up on google drive for example and provide the link. Also I'm using digikam 6.0.0 on windows 10. Regards Sher On Mon, Mar 4, 2019, 9:42 PM Gilles Caulier, <[hidden email]> wrote:

Hello; I installed a screen cast program, recorded trying to scroll through trash and all is working now. I don't understand why but it's fine now. There was mention of having to let the program "sit" for a while but it had already sat for a couple of days when it wasn't working yesterday but, as I said, works now. Thanks everyone for your replies. Regards Sher On Tue, Mar 5, 2019 at 10:23 AM Sheridan Price <[hidden email]> wrote:
