DK 6.3.0 appimage on Manjaro-KDE
I'm browsing a medium size folder within DK. It has been imported, everything went ok. But... As I browse the folder by paging up/down, often either the image preview is missing or just a section of the image preview is displayed. The imagename is there for all images including the one not showing the preview. If I move the cursor over the missing preview, then the preview shows up in full. All of these images are either CR2 (Canon) or RAF (Fuji) I tried to do some screen capture with Spectacle, but as soon as I click on Spectacle, then rest of the previews appears. 1. Is there something I could do to, it's annoying 2. Am I doing something wrong and should browse differently? My hardware should be good enough: AMD fx-8350 (8 cores), 12Gb RAM, No swap happening (1.1Gb memory used with DK open), Radeon 570/8Gb RAM Graphics: Device-1: AMD Ellesmere [Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590] vendor: Micro-Star MSI driver: amdgpu v: kernel bus ID: 01:00.0 chip ID: 1002:67df Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.5 driver: amdgpu FAILED: ati unloaded: modesetting, radeon alternate: fbdev, vesa compositor: kwin_x11 resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz, 1920x1080~60Hz OpenGL: renderer: Radeon RX 570 Series (POLARIS10 DRM 3.19.0 4.14.141-1-MANJARO LLVM 8.0.1) v: 4.5 Mesa 19.1.5 direct render: Yes digikam version 6.3.0 CPU cores: 8 Eigen: 3.3.3 Exiv2: 0.27.2 Exiv2 can write to Jp2: Yes Exiv2 can write to Jpeg: Yes Exiv2 can write to Pgf: Yes Exiv2 can write to Png: Yes Exiv2 can write to Tiff: Yes Exiv2 supports XMP metadata: Yes ImageMagick codecs: 6.9.10 KF5: 5.59.0 LensFun: 0.3.95-0 LibCImg: 130 LibJPEG: 80 LibJasper: 1.900.23 LibLCMS: 2080 LibLqr support: Yes LibPGF: 7.19.03 LibPNG: 1.6.35 LibRaw: 0.19.5 LibTIFF: 4.0.10 Marble: 0.27.20 Parallelized demosaicing: Yes Qt: 5.11.3 Qt Webkit support: Yes VKontakte support: No AkonadiContact support: No Baloo support: No Calendar support: Yes DBus support: No Database backend: QSQLITE HTML Gallery support: Yes LibAVCodec: 57.89.100 LibAVFormat: 57.71.100 LibAVUtil: 55.58.100 LibGphoto2: 2.5.14 LibOpenCV: 3.4.7 LibQtAV: 1.13.0 Media player support: Yes Panorama support: Yes digikam version 6.3.0 Images: GIF: 5 JPG: 866 PNG: 16 PSD: 49 RAW-CR2: 31254 RAW-DNG: 8489 RAW-PEF: 1765 RAW-RAF: 6899 TIFF: 319 XCF: 15 total: 49677 : Total Items: 49677 Albums: 307 Tags: 158 : Database backend: QSQLITE Database Path: /drive-b/photos/ -- sknahT vyS |
Hi, Run the AppImage from a console, and look the debug trace printed when your regenerate the thumbnails in album including your RAW files. Also, did your turn on the color management for your thumbnail views ? If yes, switch off and try again. Very rarely has this problem been reported to us. Probably a problem in the
interaction of X-Server, Qt, graphics hardware and drivers. In your configuration makes me the entry "amdgpu FAILED: ati unloaded: modesetting, radeon alternate: fbdev" suspicious. Will the amdgpu driver be used or not? I am not sure if your graphics card is still supported by the "radeon" driver, if so, test this one. Maik Am Dienstag, 1. My understanding is that it is using:
driver: amdgpu then the other drivers were either failed or not loaded. How could I test if the graphic card is properly supported by amdgpu?
