Hi!
Now that I've had a chance to play with the program for a bit, I find that I need to start fresh and clean, but I'm having a bit of trouble doing that. I've used all the search terms I can think of, but they are apparently not the right ones. I've uninstalled -- several times (Revo Uninstaller) -- and re-installed, including deleting app data and the database(s), but apparently there's a configuration file somewhere that I'm missing. I don't get the installation wizard when I reinstall and my configuration is getting more and more unwieldy as I continue my attempts. I'd like to know where the program's file locations are so I can make sure all the of them are deleted and start from the beginning. DigiKam v. 7.1 on Win 10 using Sqlite Thanks! |
Hi,
Configuration file is created in your home directory. Typically here : ~/.config/digikamrc Renaming or removing it will solve your problem. Thank you for the prompt response but, unfortunately, that file doesn't
seem to be the issue as my .config director is empty and does not contain it. I'm doing a search now to see if it's in a different location, but it is proving to be a long, slow process, so I was wondering if you had any other thoughts? Thanks! You are on Windows and the path is:
C:\User\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\digikamrc Maik Am Samstag, 30. Thank you for the help on this. I'm not sure why those files weren't
removed the first three times I tried it! But I've got my clean install working now. :-) On 01/30/2021 1:11 PM, Maik Qualmann wrote: > You are on Windows and the path is: > > C:\User\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\digikamrc > > Maik > > Am Samstag, 30.
