DK6vb3: 8-Dec appimage
When I'm in the thumbnail view, if I click on any image, it switches to the preview mode. So I have to press F3 to go back to the thumbnail view. I have check the shortcuts and there's nothing that I can see: https://i.imgur.com/osYP17R.png How do I stay in the thumbnail view? -- sknahT vyS |
Did you try switching your system to double click? On Tue, Dec 11, 2018 at 10:18 AM <[hidden email]> wrote: DK6vb3: 8-Dec appimage |

I knew that we would get feedback here. Yes right, we've changed the behavior
just as it has always existed on a Linux KF5 desktop. A single click in the area of the thumbnail image opens the preview and also a single click in the preview returns. Just like an album is only opened with a single click. There is enough space to select under the thumbnail image. I myself know only this single click, when I test the Windows version, annoyed me this double-clicking for preview. Now it is consistent on all systems. If the image editor is set, the desktop policy is still observed. At the moment it is not planned to make this behavior configurable. The double-click also caused problem in the input fields of the overlay face input in the preview mode. We will look at the feedback, but I am sure that after a short time, no one will miss the double- click. Maik Am Dienstag, 11. I think in version 6 you can either click on the
image or the text. Image click will go to preview mode. Text click
will select the file.

Just to point out that single/double click on Linux KDE is configurable and I have the desktop set to double click. I expect digikam to respect this and continue to be able to double click to switch to preview mode. Can you confirm this will continue to work this way?

At the area marked in red, the item can be selected without opening the
preview. https://i.imgur.com/aY9PI3G.png Maik Am Dienstag, 11.
