Hello,
I’m getting to know DigiKam since I first started a couple of weeks ago and I’m more than happy so far, so my best congratulations for the development. I intended to rename my photos in an album since the file name didn’t follow the creation date and time. There was some conflict and I got a message for overwriting or starting again to rename. I first chose overwrite and then restart, but then I cancelled and then a lot of files (I guess those after the conflicting numbers) disappeared and I don’t find them now (nor in the Trash folder). Is there any possibility to undo an action? Or where I can find them? They are not in my system’s trash either… Thanks a lot in advance and best regards, Hardnose |

So the local explorer (not digikam) may show something (logs?). renaming is usually done like moving, it may be to a hidden file (.something in linux) or even an nother folder hope you the best :-( jdd -- http://dodin.org |

If you chose overwrite, these images are actually lost. Now comes the stupid
saying, you can find them in your backup. I will actually change it to the fact that the images are actually moved to the digiKam trash. That does not help you now, but for the future.
