crash if I use PANORAMA

 
is it this problem only by myself or you have same problem too.
 
 
IF I use PANORAMA - select pic. and use  panorama or HDR after 5-10sec Dogikam crashed (app PANORAMA too)
If try sen to bugzila from FEDORA, bugzila's program crashed too.
 
Have somebody same problem?

same for me (again, in the past too). My idea is that a fresh install just from one source or another (not mixed) could help for obsolence of some libraries...sorry for this qualitative opinion :-)

panorama crashed on me too when I tried to merge pictures taken vertically (in my case a tall obelisk going from base up).

But once I've rotated pictures (frames of panorama) so that panorama can assemble pictures by working left to right - it worked just fine.

Digikam 2.6 on Opensuse 12.1 64bit

Crash is fully reproducible here under Magiea 2...

I talk with Benjamin Girault who maintain this code and crash is
probably due to a Boost lib bug. the code relevant is not yet used and
exist only to hack this problem. We have just forget to comment it
before last release. I comment it now for next 2.8.0 :

Patch can be applied to previous version without any problem. Plugin
work perfectly...
