Hi all,
Look this blog entry bring me about to do the same thing with digiKam : http://jkt.flaska.net/blog/KPhotoAlbum_Development_Sprint:_Part_1.html The words: "the KDE e.V. paid the flight tickets, so all we have to pay is just the barrels of beer and the T-shirts. And that's an investment a typical developer makes with pleasure" ... is really nice. We need definitivly to do something like that. Aaron Seigo have planed to do a coding sprint around November including Krita, Kdegraphics, kipi and digiKam developpers... but for the moment, no fresh news. So perhaps a simple digiKam/kipi developers coding sprint can be enough... What do you think about ? > What do you think about ? To send a mail to kde-imaging as well :) As said in past i can't move this year, but if the place has not been chosen yet I could try to see if the place where we meet in our association can host some people to develop. In such a case i could try to be present... Angelo P.S. Of course i believe that a sprint is a good idea ;) _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel signature.asc (204 bytes) Download Attachment |

We have some tables where we can work with our laptops and a network connection. if we ask for we can have also a kitchen and a little bar (well we call in such a way a place in which we can have drinks). No night accomodation, for that we should find other solutions, avoiding October though because Angelo _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel signature.asc (204 bytes) Download Attachment |

I am mostly likely visiting France on a pleasure trip around 3rd week of October, will probably just miss this coding sprint in that trip, If the dates are an option something around 3rd week of October will be the best for me, I can travel to Italia from France :)
On the other hand, If I travel back from India it might be a little expensive, will KDE e.V be in a mood to sponsor that ? :) Even If I don't make it please please let me buy a Digikam/KDE-imaging/KDE t-shirt :) Vardhman On Tue, Sep 2, 2008 at 8:43 PM, Andrea Diamantini <[hidden email]> wrote:

The best thing is that we can include the week-end, becuase on Saturday and Sunday the rooms are always (well very often) free. Now we need a little bit more time in which the associations that own the rooms all agree. But it should be done soon. And we need to know what we should do, e.g. finding accomodation, etc. Best, Angelo P.S. please cc sc. P.P.S.S. Stefano if necessary we can cc or cd@ ...
