Hi guys, My workflow includes some editions using external programs (usualy gimp) while I'm selecting and rating images. |
What OS you are on? Also I think the checkbox "Rescan after changes were made" will help. I recall having same problems in Windows long time ago but I don't think it happens on Linux. Or maybe my workflow just changed... I think it is in Settings in Metadata. It's same section where Lazy synchronization is. Sorry I am not in front of my computer right now. I marked "Rescan file when files are modified" but nothing changed. I still need to press F5 to see the new file inside digikam. What I really whant is a way to "Find new items" without rebuild all thumbnails. I'm the only one with this issue? On Fri, Jul 21, 2017 at 6:41 PM, Andrey Goreev <[hidden email]> wrote:

The only way to avoid all the effort to rebuild tumbs and still see the new image on Digikam is: - Press F5- wait the finding new items process finish - when the rebuild tumbs process start - stop it. Thanks On Fri, Jul 21, 2017 at 10:16 PM, Erick Moreno <[hidden email]> wrote:

Weird. I don't have to press anything. If I export anything from darktable to jpeg, the image shows up in digikam as soon as the jpeg created. No rescan required.
