Hello,
I cannot find any information on howto export multiple photo's to disk. Can anyone inform me about this? Best Regards, Patrick Vijgeboom _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
It's sort of hidden ;-) Just select the pictures you want to export outside Digikam collections and select Export to a remote computer (or something like that, in french it is "exporter vers un ordinateur distant"); you'll be able to select any place you want on your local disks.2013/4/2 Patrick Vijgeboom <[hidden email]> Hello, -- Mes dernières photos sont dans ma galerie. Hello Marie-Noëlle,
Thank you for your answer, but I am still a bit lost. Is the export option in the export menu? Because, I can't find it there. And I am still a bit lost with selecting pictures outside Digikam collections. Hope you can tell me more :-) Regards, Patrick Vijgeboom Op 02-04-13 20:36, Marie-Noëlle

Yes, it is in the Export menu; but you might have to allow this function in the Configuration menu (there are plenty of export functions available...) And in Digikam, you can only work/select pictures that belong to Digikam collections (but you can export anywhere else). To add other collections, and event removable devices, use the Collections tab in the Configuration menu.2013/4/2 Patrick Vijgeboom <[hidden email]>

Thank you, I have found it. For me the plugin have a strange name to
find it directly.
It would be nice to have this plugin Export As, for example export all photo's as TIFF. Many thanks :-) Op 02-04-13 21:13, Marie-Noëlle

You can just highlight the pictures you want and the drag and drop
to wherever you like. Works for me anyway.

You can select multiple pictures (click+Ctrl), then "Export to a remote computer", select destination folder, OK. Or by tagging the photos in question with a new tag, switch to tag-view, select the tag, select all the pictures and then export. Or select and drag over on the destination in an open filemanager window (works flawlessly between DigiKam and Dolphin/Konqueror), you will be prompted for "Move/Copy/Cancel". There are many more ways to acomplish this.
