Something like the flickr organizer? It is sometimes better than using a selection, because it is more robust. A selection can easily be lost, which a temporary collection can not. -- Anders _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Well, their missing support for proffesional photographers does not make the organizer bad. There, the selection you want to work on is the main part of the screen, while the images you select from is a bottom bar of thumbs, which can be anything - an album, a gallery, a upload batch, etc. In digikam language, any sort of collection, from the left sidebar, could be a source for adding images to the temporary selection, and any changes from the right sidebar could then be applied. There must be some UI considerations on how to get that right inside digikam, but it surely would be nice. -- Anders _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
