Re: Install 0.9.4 on KDE4

Hi all

is there a way to install 0.9.4 on KDE4?

I tried to compile 0.10-beta2 and got the following
"./digikam-0.10.0-beta2/cmake/templates/svnscript.cmake.in_cmake does
not exist"
and of course the whole cmake/templates path is not existing...
then I tried to compile the current svn...
thousands of errors, very frustrating

Of course, just install your distro's binary which should be up to date with 0.9.4.

But if you want to compile 0.9.4 you might run into similar problems as with 0.10. Then it's worth to invest the energy into compiling 0.10-svn rather then 0.9.4.

My personal opinion of course.

Hi Gerhard

If I install 0.9.4 form my distro (debian lenny) I will lose KDE4 which
is not the idea.
If I try to install a compiled version I get the error about the missing
KDE-center.
