I have added PPA's
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/msylwester/digikam/ubuntu trusty main deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/msylwester/digikam/ubuntu trusty main to my Mint 17 system. It did work until some updates a couple of weeks back. I have removed it an re-installed, it seems to install OK but when I run it it opens the start picture with the mountains, then crashes. If I start it from terminal I get - mick@MintDesk17:~$ digikam Object::connect: No such signal org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceAdded(QDBusObjectPath) Object::connect: No such signal org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceRemoved(QDBusObjectPath) digikam: symbol lookup error: digikam: undefined symbol: _ZNK11KExiv2Iface14AltLangStrEdit8textEditEv mick@MintDesk17:~$ Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks Mick _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Check libkexiv2 package update. You have a binary compatibility issue

msylwester copies packages from my PPA but haven't updated his version of libkexiv2 - 4:4.14.1-trusty~ppa1 to my latest libkexiv2 - 4:4.14.2-trusty~ppa1 that replaces the libkexiv2 4.14.2 on your system that you use now. /PhilipOn Sun, Oct 26, 2014 at 2:03 PM, Mick Sulley <[hidden email]> wrote: I have added PPA's _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
