Ok, so, you need at least Exiv2 0.18.0 to be able to writte metadata
in PNG. I recommend to use last stable 0.18.1 To be able to use new Exiv2, you need to recompile libkexiv2 and after digiKam and kipi-plugins. Perhaps packages already exist in a repository...
