Hi all,
as of tonight, digikam, kipi-plugins, libkface and libkmap have been migrated to digikam. For convenience, I have setup a small super-repository which uses the "gits" script to manage the four repositories (it will be seven with the kdegraphics libs). With this, it will be a three-step process to setup the new devel environment. 1) Edit your ~/.gitconfig as given in http://community.kde.org/Sysadmin/GitFAQ#Let_Git_rewrite_URL_prefixes 2) git clone kde://scratch/mwiesweg/digikam-sc Enter the directory 3) Execute ./download-repos Note: We will soon merge the development/2.0 branches to master, at which time you'll manually switch branches again. The super-repo is atm a personal scratch repo, I plan to give it a better place to live later. Have fun Marcel _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Just a small fix - it should be
git clone kde:scratch/mwiesweg/digikam-sc without those two slashes after kde:, otherwise it won't work ;) Marty

Hi,
I needed to adjust this setting to be able to push: git config --global push.default tracking though I'm not sure why, or if this was a peculiarity here. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Chaning from kde:// to kde: opens a new problem, as apparently gits thinks the URL is relative and creates bad URLs: (sid-kde-46)mike@operator:/c/temp/kde/trunk-svn/digikam-sc$ cat .gitslave "kde:digikam" "core" "kde:libkface" "extra/libkface" "kde:libkmap" "extra/libkmap" "kde:kipi-plugins" "extra/kipi-plugins" (sid-kde-46)mike@operator:/c/temp/kde/trunk-svn/digikam-sc$ ./gits -v populate Progress bar unavailable - install Term::ProgressBar (perl-Term-ProgressBar RPM) gits: Cloning core Running command: `(git config remote.origin.url) 2>&1` Running command: `git clone "kde:digikam/digikam" "core"` Cloning into core... fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly Could not clone kde:digikam/digikam onto core When I changed kde:digikam to kde://digikam (and did the same in ~/.gitconfig), the checkout worked. So we either have to use the kde:// scheme or patch gits... Marcel,
I recieve libraw 0.13.0 tarballs. This code need to be included into libkdcraw 2.0.0, which still under subversion GoSC2010. Do you plan to move this version of libkdcraw (and also libkexiv2 and libkipi) to Git ?
