Hello,
Has anyone experienced this problem before? My DNG raw thumbnails have been messed up ever since I upgraded from Kubuntu Dapper Drake to Edgy Eft. NEF raw images and JPEGs still display okay. This is what I am seeing: http://csd.net/~4season/dng_thumbnails.jpg I was previously using Achim Bohnet's 0.90 packages on Dapper Drake, and thumbnails looked fine. But I did a clean install of Edgy Eft, installed Achim's 0.90 packages for Edgy, and that's when I noticed the problem with the thumbnails. I have rebuilt all thumbnails, but this hasn't helped. I also tried upgrading to Achim's 0.91-rc1 packages, but the thumbnails still look strange. About digiKam reports: digiKam 0.9.1-rc1 (Using KDE 3.5.5) Using Kipi library version 0.1.5 Using KExiv2 library version 0.1.0 Using Exiv2 library version 0.12.0 Using PNG library version 1.2.8 Using Gphoto2 library version 2.2.1 Jeff ____________________________________________________________________________________ Expecting? Jeff,
digiKam 0.9.0 and 0.9.1 use dcraw 8.54 to extract DNG thumbnail. future digiKam 0.9.2 will use libkdcraw including dcraw 8.60 witch normally fix the problem.
Please send me a DNG file sample to test on my computer. Please use my e-mail "caulier dot gilles at gmail dot com" thanks in advance

("About digiKam" is essentially the same as Jeff's, apart from digiKam 0.9.1-rc2 (Using KDE 3.5.5)) Arnd _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
