Keywords/Tags are not written into the pics?

Hello,

doesn't digikam write any keywords/tags into the pics?

I'm using:

digikam 0.9.0-rc1 (also the plugins)
Kipi-plugins 0.1.3-beta1
libkipi 0.1.5
Exiv2 0.12

It's also the same with comments. I've changed some existing comments, but
this change happens only inside digikam, not in the pic's comment-field

No, it does not. But you can change the default behaviour in the settings
dialog (I can say where exactly, because I am using a translated version).

Did you setup Digikam appropriately?
In options you have an option to sync Digikam comments with Exif. Also
in libkipi new metadataeditor has very rich possibilities to sync
comments with various metadata systems.
