KDE Imaging Coding spring event 2011 : the digiKam team reunion. (part 2)...

Hi all,

I'm back with the coding sprint event to organize this year.

To resume :

- The goal is to organize a reunion between all digiKam & co
contributors (as GoSC and SOK developers).

- It's a 3 days week-end event (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

- Angelo propose to host the event in Italia, at Genoa.

- Peoples availabilities is given in this Doodle schedule :

- After a discussion with Marcel we retain 2 possible Week end, with a
preference for me and him to second date in 2012 :
   * 2011 : December 9/10/11
   * 2012 : January 13/14/15

   * Supreet Pal Singh (SoK - digiKam Presentation mode)

- Some peoples come from outside Europe (india and China) and need to
apply travel visa.

- I don't have yet contacted KDE-ev for sponsoring, but it must be
fine as usual.

So, it's time to take a choice, and accordingly, to start for each
people all relevant tasks to reserve travel and give me estimation
costs for KDE-ev sponsoring.

for me both dates are ok, I can afford easily the travel and coffee
costs, what would be needed is a place where to sleep.
Torino -> Genoa is about 2hr travel by car
If someone find more convenient to travel till Torino instead of Genoa
I've other 3 places in car.

Angelo, please take a look if i don't forget something about Alid
Association, Genoa map, etc. A restaurant need to be booked for
Saturday night. The hotel need to be booked too, when all contributors
will fill information. I need to know the hostel cost for kde-ev.:

To all contributors, please fill the page with :

- phone,
- mail,
- arrival date,
- departure date,
- travel details and estimated cost.

You need a wiki account for that of course.

To waste time. I need estimated cost quickly for kde-ev sponsorship.

I sent an e-mail to KDE-ev team yesterday evening. I waiting to
receive a response for sponsorship. I hope that it will be quickly to
be sure that all people can book plane in time.

If you can find a way to come in Italia with better price, don't
hesitate to change information KDE-ev wiki page.

For the hotel, i'm waiting Angelo feedback. I hope that we will use
the same hotel that in 2008.

I believe we should take a decision before booking anything, concerning what

kde-ev told us...
