How to generate Lut3D tables?

Dmitri Popov-2
Hello,

Since it's possible to add custom Lut3D tables to digiKam, I wonder whether it's possible to generate digiKam-compatible Lut3D tables? I use convert hald:9 hald-9.png command to create Hald-CLUT tables, but they look different from Lut3D tables that come with digiKam.

Thanks,
Dmitri

Answering my own question. Apparently, Hald-CLUT tables generated with ImageMagick work just fine with digiKam.

Best,
Dmitri

LUT3D are a different format than haldCLUT files, I think. It should be possible to convert between them, I think?

Looks like digiKam can use Hald-CLUT tables without any tweaking. I'd
be interested in learning more about LUT3D tables, though.

Best,
Dmitri
