How does digikam decide to order albums?

Chris Green
How does digikam decide how to sort it's albums?  I know that by
default they are sorted alphabetically and that one can click the
column header bar to reverse the sort order but I was wondering if the
alphabetic sort is within digikam or if it's set by some external
'global' KDE parameter or similar.

That wasn't quite what I was asking, I wanted to know whether digikam
decides on an alphabetic sort internally or uses the default sort from
the KDE desktop somewhere (that one might be able to change).

Albums are sorted alphabetically internally.

In View menu you can additionally sort by date or Collection. But don't
get used to Collections - they are going away in next installment of
digiKam (0.10).
