How to get the image tagged, if the tag is stored only in IPTC keywords?
I tried to add the tag in the keywords field to "My tags" and synced all metadata. Import of over 5000 photos and to tag it manually is a pain... regards, Michael _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Michael,
What do you want to do exactly with tags ? It's not clear. Witch version of digiKam you use ? Hi,
I think he means the Tags of "new" pic, which was not stored in digikam before, so he want to import the keywords stored/used with the other app into the IPTC-Keyword-field. well, Tags import from IPTC keywords work fine with digiKam 0.9.1, and partially with 0.9.0
Also, only IPTC/IIM is supported in digiKam. XMP is not yet supported. It a limitation of Exiv2 library witch is used to handle pictures metadata. It planed to support XMP later. Hi,
I am using digikam 0.91 Christoph is right: I try to import all my fotos into digikam. I am able to copy with my other foto-db all tags and subtags to "IPTC keywords" in the same format than digikam it does. But digikam does not read back these tags.
