I guess the best way would be to download the latest pre-release appimage
(5.8.0 at the moment), run it in terminal with debug option and try to reproduce the issue. If you could record a screencast that would help developers to understand the issue better as well. -- Sent from: http://digikam.1695700.n4.nabble.com/digikam-users-f1735189.html |

Hi there,
somehow I struggle mailing properly these days. :-( Another mail that went the wrong way thanks to my mistakes. Hi Andrey, sorry I've been sending my answers to you privately instead of the list, just did hit the reply button as usual and didn't realize it's not going to the list. At least it explains, in which nirvana my last mail ended up. ;-) I'll just forward the conversation to the list. Been doing so since starting with digikam, as that was what it started with on my system and never saw a reason to change. Think the problem might be lurking in the database? Am a bit stressed timewise at the moment, between baby, making the house baby proof, new job and a hundred other things grumbling, like getting my back-ups sorted (again) and updating the system. Not sure if screencast will add much information, only thing to see is stars look different after doing a lot of tagging, but will try. > > > -- > Sent from: http://digikam.1695700.n4.nabble.com/digikam-users-f1735189.html > -- Andreas Ege 2 Weston Hall Cottages Weston under Penyard Herefordshire HR9 7NS GB Mobile: +44.(0)7970.190925 Tel./Fax: +44.(0)1989.763534 |

I think your answers were actually posted for everyone to see them. I always use "Reply" button. You can also use it as a forum if you don't like email threads. sqlite should be fine. Do you have xmp sidecars for the files you have issues with? Best regards, On Fri, Oct 6, 2017 at 6:10 AM, Andreas T. Ege <[hidden email]> wrote: Hi there, |

I thought if you open digikam and the terminal side by side and record the screen while reproducing the issue that might help developers to see in real time when the problem popped up. Best regards, On Fri, Oct 6, 2017 at 6:14 AM, Andreas T. Ege <[hidden email]> wrote: Hi there, |
