Not at this point yet, only later rawtherapee for raw processing of the
raw I kept over from the culling.
And I only do raw processing with it, no tagging, labelling or whatever.
And potentially gimp after raw processing (which is a pain in itself,
because gimp doesn't preserve the metadata :-( ).

I guess the best way would be to download the latest pre-release appimage
(5.8.0 at the moment), run it in terminal with debug option and try to
reproduce the issue. If you could record a screencast that would help
developers to understand the issue better as well.

Am a bit stressed timewise at the moment, between baby, making the house
baby proof, new job and a hundred other things grumbling, like getting
my back-ups sorted (again) and updating the system.
Not sure if screencast will add much information, only thing to see is
stars look different after doing a lot of tagging, but will try.

sqlite should be fine. Do you have xmp sidecars for the files you have issues with?

I thought if you open digikam and the terminal side by side and record the screen while reproducing the issue that might help developers to see in real time when the problem popped up.

Can't reproduce the problem with pre-release image 5.8, just screened
about 1500 images and didn't notice any unwanted behaviour so far.
