Hi guys
I really love this list - learn really much about the use of Digikam and camera usage in general. Currently I'm using Digikam on my Ubuntu (soon to be replaced by Fedora) but would also like to have Digikam on my laptop and perhaps even my work Lenovo laptop too. Is such solution even possible? I have the exact same strucutre (of course the Windows directy is placed a bit different) on all PCs. Thanks very much in advance. -- Venlig hilsen / Best regards Allan Dreyer Andersen _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

You have a rsync-based solution to your problem in this thread : http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/digikam-users/2009-October/008517.html Hope this helps, G. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Now, if I recall correctly, this has been answered before: you can run digikam on multiple computers/instances but only the first one to access will have write capabilities to the database. :) _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I'll try to do search to find previous posts about this subject. Wish you all a very nice Sunday. -- Venlig hilsen / Best regards Allan Dreyer Andersen _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
