Digikam not working after Ubuntu update

This evening I did a system update and after the reboot, digikam crashes on
startup.


I have Ubuntu 10.04. I uninstalled Digikam and reinstalled it and no good. There
was about 80 updates so I have no idea which one killed it. Any ideas that can
help me get this back to working again?

never mind. I recompiled both Kipi plugins and Digikam and that seemed to fix it

Never mind. after recompiling both Kipi and Digikam it worked
