Hi,
i'm just updating the german translation of digikam in trunk and found Set on this option to display pure black over-colored on preview. This will help you to avoid under-exposing the image. What does it mean? Could sombody clarify this option? Thanks in advance Oliver _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

On photography world, an over-exposed color is pure white and under-exposed is pure black. The new options can coloring these areas using custom colors set in digiKam image editor configuration panel. Look these screeshots for example : http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/Screenshots/exposureindicatorsfromimageplugins.png http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/Screenshots/underexposureindicator.png http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/Screenshots/overerexposureindicator.png http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/Screenshots/exposureindicatorSetup.png Gilles _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

On my system this does work, e.g.: "Under Exposure indicator is enable" "Over Exposure indicator is disable" BTW: - it should be "enabled" and "disabled" - somehow the "d"'s got missing. - For native speakers: "Under exposure"/"Under-exposure"/"Underexposure" which is the right one (if there is one?)
