In my friends Windows Explorer, the metadata shows up. Would it be possible to reveal this metadata in Digikam? I would be eternally grateful. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

The Sony Alpha use this makernote format to store new pictures informations. I'm sure, ihave check this point with some Sony picture samples and i have a Minolta Dynax 5D. To handle properlly the Sony Makernote, the Minolta makernote parser from Exiv2 library need to be updated (i'm sure, i have written this parser (:=))). Nothing need to be done in digiKam for that. Please file a wish in Exiv2 library bugzilla: http://dev.robotbattle.com/bugs/my_view_page.php Thanks in advance. Is that right? Also, digiKam tells me that my .arw raw files are not raw files when I try to use the Raw Converter. I am running Suse 10.2, digiKam 0.9, and I have gotten the latest version of dcraw. Am I doing something wrong? This problem is fixed in current kipi-plugins implementation. Try 0.1.3-rc from http://www.kipi-plugins.org or use svn trunk Nota : digiKam image editor can open ARW files.
