During my make of digikam, there was an error that some file was missing. It took me a long time to find out I was missing the devel files of exiv2. Wouldn't it be great if configure already would check for it and could give a reasonable error msg if not found ?

.configure have a basic check about Exiv2 avaibility and need to be improved.
Please give me backtrace about missing files requires.

no more feedback here ? Nobody have reported a similar problem about Exiv2. I suspect a problem in your system !
