Digikam 5.2 - how to under windows OS detect camera?

Aaron

Greetings
I'm trying to add my camera Canon Rebel T3 so I can import photos. When I go to camera in the UI I'm given the option to only manually add a camera. Auto detect doesn't seem to be listed anywhere. I'm running Windows 10 64-bit and connecting my camera over USB. Thoughts? Thank you for your help in advance.

Camera detection does not work yet in v5.2.0 on Windows. See release notes
(C:\Program Files\digiKam\releasenotes.html): "/Camera auto detection do not
work yet as under Linux due to limitations in Solid hardware interface used
by digiKam./"
