This: sudo cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfull -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` .. instead of this: cmake digikam-software-compilation else you will end up with empty albums. Gilles had some documents updated according this at that time. But things that have been on the internet once can´t be extinguished anymore and will survive forever no matter how wrong they are.Rinus Op 23-08-11 11:30, Marie-Noëlle Augendre schreef:

??? What ??? You don't need to use "sudo" for this line : sudo cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfull -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` ..
If you do it, all file processed by cmake and creadted with it will be only usable by root ! This will be a mess... only use sudo to process "make install" Gilles Caulier _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Sure... if you have previously run cmake as sudo here...
Cleanup all, checkout from scratch, and try again _whitout_ sudo. It will work fine. Gilles Caulier

Now it works. But strange enough about 10 times cmake failed and then without any change are obvious reason: -- Configuring done -- Generating done -- Build files have been written to: /home/jansen/digikam-software-compilation Now I am in the make process, lets see what happens.
