I have already backported the patch for dcraw 8.24 in libkdcraw 8.54. I work but it require libtiff. I'm currently working to use the dcraw technic to write TIFF file without libtiff (yes DNG files are TIFF files). After, i will add the capability to write Exif and makernote metadata. In fact, we will have a RAW to DNG converter for linux at soon.
