Clean start

Alessandro Dentella

I'm starting digikam, I want a completely new start, no old
configuration.

I'm using appImmage 5.4.0 and I deleted ~/.kde/share/config/digikamrc
but it still complains that there's a dbVersion is missing and that I
should start w/ and empty data bank.

I notice that configuration still has some previus attempt to
configure it.

How can I delete any configuration ans start in a clean way?

TIA

Re: Clean start

The configuration is no longer stored there since version 5. The new
location in linux is ~/.config/.

Cheers,
Simon

Hi Sandro,
Make sure you start with a clean collection directory, the digikam.db is
placed there by default I believe. In my case ~/Billeder/ contains
digikam4.db, recognition.db and thumbnails-digikam.db

Kindly,
Anders

THanks, so I managed to terminate migration from digikam 1.2 to new
one.
