Package: digikam
Version: 2:1.2.0-5 Severity: important Hi, I've updated my sid this evening. After that, my albums are shown as empty. The files still exist on disk. I've tried the re-read of metadata, but this doesn't help. A try to re-create the fingerprints crashes Digikam, see attached thread dump. Michael, Can you revert your installation of libexiv2-6=0.19-1 to the version in testing. Lets see if that patch has other unintended consequences. Yes, it has. Now the images are back again... It appears that we do require the rebuild of all libs for the Nikon fix (ie 0.20) and can't just sneak it on the back of 0.19. This depends on the definition of "problem" :-) > I have uploaded exiv2 0.19-3 which reverts the Nikon patch from upstream. Thank you, this brings my images back, too. > It appears that we do require the rebuild of all libs for the Nikon fix > (ie 0.20) and can't just sneak it on the back of 0.19. This sounds like a big task. Could you say something about the timeline? Or is the fix deferred until KDE 4.5? Many thanks! Thanks a lot! Kind regards, Michael _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
