Bug ID: 297295 Severity: wishlist Version: 2.5.0 Priority: NOR Assignee: [hidden email] Summary: Zooming: full picture thumbnail to show position Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: [hidden email] Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: Usability Product: digikam When zooming on picture (but also valid for map), It would be nice to have a global thumbnail preview which show position and complete picture (for example like Nikon D90 preview when zooming) Eventually user could lock zoom level of both part for maps -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

--- Comment #2 from [hidden email] --- Mockup is your camera: at least on the Nikon and the olympus I got currently, when browsing pictures, they are displayed full screen. if you start to zoom, you have a small thumbnail of the full picture in a corner and a rectangle (white/red/whatever) to show which part of the picture you are, where you are moving. In the case of maps, the "full preview" could either be a planet view or a continent view or maybe a region. I would say it depends on user and on current task. That's where the lock level option could be interesting -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

There is a button where a railway mode permit you to navigate over image through a thumbnail. For the map, i don't see any advantage to see a planet view as railway solution. Map is always available on the right sidebar... Look zoom level is currently implemneted in 2.6.0-beta3... --- Comment #4 from [hidden email] --- Yeah, that's it ... I couldn't guess. is there a way to make it visible as soon as a zoom is done ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
