Summary: Change defaults for noise reduction Product: digikam Version: 2.0.0 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: [hidden email] ReportedBy: [hidden email] Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.6.4) OS: Linux Currently the defaults for noise reduction result in a very blurred image. I'm not sure what the defaults should be but certainly less soft. Typically, Composite Red and Blue channel must be patched to reduce noise. Y channel is not affected by noise in color image. This want mean that some combination of CR and CB settings, depending of noise type, depending of shot conditions Something like presets can be add in this tool. Please experiment and provide presets. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Version Fixed In| |3.4.0 Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #3 from Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]> --- As digiKam now has a Noise detection algorithm used by default to adjust YCrCb settings automatically, this entry can be considerate as fixed.
