[Bug 261134] New: Drag a folder into album view - deletes source folder

Bugzilla from peter.moller@gmail.com
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261134

Summary: Drag a folder into album view - deletes source folder
           Product: digikam
           Version: 1.7.0
          Platform: MS Windows
        OS/Version: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Import
        AssignedTo: [hidden email]
        ReportedBy: [hidden email]

Version:           1.7.0 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS:                MS Windows

I have the "My Albums" view open.

If I drag a folder from the windows explorer there (into an existing album) I
get the "Move Here/Copy Here/Cancel" menu popup. No matter what I select then
the source folder is deleted (moved to trash). This happens before the
move/copy is started so it causes kioslave.exe to crash.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Drag a folder from the windows explorer (into an existing album)

Actual Results:
Source folder moved to trash

Expected Results:
Folder and pictures should be imported into album

Windows7x64

Gilles,

This is a huge bug, if confirmed I think we need to postpone windows release.
