Product: digikam

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR

Version: 1.4.0 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux
Lots of DSLR cameras can record JPEG and RAW at the same time.
Feature request: «Group» the JPEG/RAW pairs in the image view so that
forwarding to the next image e.g. shows the next JPEG image only. Example:
DSC_2637.JPG
DSC_2637.NEF
DSC_2642.JPG
DSC_2642.NEF
DSC_2644.JPG
DSC_2644.NEF
The image viewer should show 2637 → 2642 → 2644 instead of 2637 → 2637 → 2642 →
2642 → 2644 → 2644. (That's also how e.g. the Nikon D90 handles JPEG+RAW.)
It still has to possible to show them separated, e.g. for editing the JPG or
the RAW file, or deleting one of them.
Perhaps a button+shortcut to switch between grouping/stacking of JPEG+RAW and
unstacked?
Reproducible: Always
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-0.slh.11-sidux-amd64
Compiler: cc
