Clicking View > Show last photo first rebuilds all thumbnails in the importer.
This can take quite some time ;)

Reproducible: Always




OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-0.slh.11-sidux-amd64

With 2.1.0, time to connect to camera have been reduced a lots. thumbnail are
processed on the fly, not all in first.

Changing sort order switch quickly now...
