If I open a RAW image in the editor I can change the exposure correction and a
progress bar appears that indicates that the image is re-calculated, however
there is no visible change, even if I use +3 or -3 EV.

Forgot to mention: this is valid for all sliders/settings in the
post-processing tab of the raw import module.
